Close up with Paul Kalkbrenner

Kalkbrenner reveals details about his new track “Cloud Rider” as well as the 2009 hit “Sky and Sand,” which he wrote with his brother for the soundtrack to Berlin Calling. Later he’ll explain why teaching his brother how to produce music was formative on both artists. His reflections on Kraftwerk’s “Autobahn” and Morricone’s “Man with the Harmonica” underscore his reverence for those pioneers.
