London, 16th September 2015, Deezer, the leading global on-demand music streaming service, today announced that it will unveil an updated homepage for mobile and web over the next few weeks that will make finding the best content on Deezer easier than ever. The updates will feature quick links to personalized radio-like mixes for any mood, top playlists from fans and Deezer’s global network of music editors, and new releases.
Additionally, the new optimized design will highlight Deezer’s intelligent ‘Flow’ feature to further aid discovery and offer new music recommendations even more effectively, with just one click. Flow looks at all the music you’ve played, skipped, and added to your favorites, and creates a personal music stream that is tailored to your taste.
“We’re constantly fine-tuning the Deezer experience for our users to make sure we are hitting the right notes,” said Alexandre Croiseaux, VP of Product at Deezer. “You may be into checking out new music, listening to one of our many mood mixes, or you may know exactly what you want to listen to; either way our design now makes it even easier to find everything you want in one place.”
The new homepage will be available on iOS starting this week, and roll out to Android and on the web over the next two weeks to free and Premium + users.
The update on mobile will also see a new navigation bar replacing the side menu, allowing music fans to access their favourite music through a simple tap of the screen.
More than 60 new mixes will now be featured on the homepage, providing personalised themed music for any occasion. Whether you are in the mood to relax sipping your decaf latte whilst listening to ‘Coffee Lounge’, or have a sudden urge to ‘Jump Around’ to some good Old School Hip Hop Deezer has a mix for you.
