Deezer partners with Parrot for Volvo Cars

We’re happy to be an official content partner for Parrot’s Infotainment platform for Volvo Cars. Together we’re unleashing music everywhere, with drivers able to access over 20 million tracks right from their car.

Voice-recognition and text-to-speech technologies allow hands-free navigation of Deezer. Drivers can also use the steering wheel and touch interface to select artists and albums.

The ‘Sensus Connected Touch’ works by Wi-Fi tethering to a smartphone or a 3G/LTE USB dongle. The system can be fitted in new Volvos or retrofitted to models from 2011 onwards possessing a Sensus system and a 7 inch display.

The Deezer integration will be available from May 2013 in Europe, South Africa, Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand.
