Introducing: Tom Misch

AKA: Dr Electronic

Hometown: London, England

Who is he? Multi-talented might be the key word when describing Tom Misch. As well as creating his own music and perfoming live, the 21 year old is an accomplished producer and DJ.

The sound: Chilled out grooves you’ll want to listen to in any situation.

Never one to stick to one genre, Misch moves effortlessly from hip hop-tinged beats that will remind you of Jay Dilla productions to soulful, disco floor fillers. And, he’s not afraid of the funk.

Why we love him: His versatility and cracking songwriting. On his early production projects Beat Tape and Beat Tape 2 Misch showed he has a keen ear for a beat. Then his Reverie EP stepped it up a gear to combine those skills with tunes that showcase his writing and work well with a live band.
