Childhood Memories

Artists from all over the world have revealed their favorite childhood songs in a brand new Deezer Originals album. ‘Childhood Memories’ is an exclusive compilation series featuring covers of beloved tracks by global artists like Lost Frequencies and Faouzia. Each artist hand-picked a nostalgic track representing a specific happy time or memory from their past.

‘Childhood Memories’ features Belgian DJ and producer, Lost Frequencies, who reimagines ‘Beggin’’ by Madcon with a euphoric dance beat that gives this classic hip hop track a fresh club vibe.

Our Originals album also features local editions with a total of 19 artists across France, Brazil, Latin America and the Middle East. The launch follows the hugely successful ‘Souvenirs d’enfance’ in France, a collection of 12 exclusive nostalgic childhood tracks and one of Deezer’s most successful music Originals to date.

The line-up of global artists include:

  • Lost Frequencies: ‘Beggin’ by Madcon
  • Faouzia: ‘Hung Up’ by Madonna

“Music has the power to take you back to a specific moment in time. We asked each artist to take that trip down memory lane, giving our fans a glimpse into the music that shaped who they are today. ‘Childhood Memories’ is truly a global affair, with a diverse mix of artists from around the world putting their own unique spin on classic hits,” said Nigel Harding, Deezer’s Global VP of Artist Relations.
