Deezer and edjing strengthen their partnership to mark the launch of the new edjing app

Leading music streaming service Deezer and the world’s first DJ app, edjing, have taken their collaboration one step further today, with the launch of edjing’s brand new app. edjing has been disrupting the DJ scene ever since its release, giving music fans the chance, for the first time, to mix streaming music tracks directly from a mobile application. Today, edjing is announcing a host of brand new updates to its service, with a more complete & optimised Deezer integration and a stack of new features.

Deezer & edjing: a mix built to last

Since teaming up with Deezer in 2012, edjing has offered millions of Deezer Premium+ subscribers the ability to mix Deezer’s entire music catalogue straight from their phones. The first time anyone has been able to mix music directly from a mobile app, Deezer and edjing’s alliance has given 18 million aspiring DJs in over 180 countries the chance to enjoy a brand new music experience.

A fully optimised Deezer integration

Available from today, the new version of edjing offers a more complete and optimised Deezer integration, giving edjingers even more music to mix and discover, thanks to Deezer’s recommendation tools: Top Charts, Deezer Picks and Themed Radio Channels. From today, Deezer Premium+ subscribers will be able to access more than 50 million tracks on edjing, including more than 30 million from Deezer’s own catalogue.

More social, more intelligent, more intuitive, the new edjing app includes a range of new features, including three major innovations designed to radically improve the overall user experience:

• ‘‘edjing World’’: the social network for edjers, connecting aspiring DJs all over the world and helping them share and discover new mixes.
• ‘‘Global Search’’: this feature gives music fans instant access to more than 50 million tracks in one click – browsing from everything Deezer, iTunes and SoundCloud has to offer.
• Redesigned interface: the attractive new design navigates fans seamlessly through all the latest features.

What’s more, the new app grants improved access to more social sharing features, unlimited Cloud storage space, and a ‘‘current playlist’’.
