Deezer Launches Lyric Sharing on Instagram Stories

• New shareable feature allows fans to post favorite lyrics from Deezer
• Deezer users can play the full song, direct from Instagram Stories

June 19th 2019: Deezer, the global streaming service, now lets music fans express exactly how they feel through song lyrics on Instagram Stories. Starting today, Deezer users can instantly post many of their favourite song lyrics from the streaming service’s 53 million tracks. Followers can then listen to the entire track on Deezer, direct from their friend’s shared Instagram Stories.

Music fans using the Deezer mobile player can tap the ‘Lyrics’ symbol to view lyrics and share with their followers. Users will then be able to select and crop lyrics, while listening to their song uninterrupted. Once the user is satisfied with their selection, they will be redirected to Instagram’s ‘Story Mode’ for immediate posting.

Deezer’s Instagram Sharing features also include: 

• Ability to share up to 5 lines of lyrics direct to Instagram Stories
• Share covers of tracks, plus artists, playlists, albums and podcasts*
• Immediately listen to your friend’s audio content in Deezer with ‘Play in Deezer’ button
• Available for Free and Premium users on Android and iOS
• All available Instagram Story features including: gifs, emojis, location drops, extra words and more
