DEEZER LAUNCHES ‘RAMADHAN CHANNEL’ TO HONOR MUSLIM HOLY MONTH

Jakarta, 16th May 2018, Deezer, the world’s most personal music streaming service, is honoring the Muslim Holy Month with the launch of the first dedicated Ramadhan channel in Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. Starting today, Deezer’s ‘Ramadhan Channel’ will host a selection of exclusive Qu’ran recitals, special prayer playlists and tracks by famous Muslim artists.

In an exclusive partnership with Ammar Channel, all Qu’ran recitals have been performed by a selection of famous Hafidz, including Muzammil Hasballah, Taqy Maliq, Salim Bahanaan and Ibrohim El Haq.  The recitals are only available on Deezer and can be found within dedicated playlists, including ‘Morning Prayers’, ‘Afternoon Prayers’, ‘Evening Prayers’, and ‘Night Prayers’.

The new Ramadhan Channel is available free of charge for all Deezer users.

Musicians featured on the Ramadhan Channel include popular Muslim artists such as Dato Siti Nurhaliza, Dato’ AC Mizal, Afgan, Maher Zain, Hafiz Hamidun, Ungu, Sami Yusuf, Gita Gutawa, Unic, Chomel and Raihan, among others.

The Deezer Ramadhan channel will be available until June 14th in Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, after which content will continue to be available on the platform in Indonesia through Deezer’s Religion and Spirituality channel.
