Deezer to Exclusively Livestream Jul’s Sold Out Concert In-app

In a first of its kind, Deezer partners with iconic rapper Jul to bring his highly anticipated Marseille concert to a world-wide audience

Paris, June 2, 2022 – When Marseille rapper Jul takes the stage in front of 60 000 people at the Orange Vélodrome Stadium in Marseille, Saturday June 4th at 9PM, Deezer will host a world-wide in-app and web livestream. This exclusive event takes place the day after Jul releases his highly anticipated new album “Extraterrestre”, and is the first large-scale livestream of its kind on Deezer. 

“Jul is a superstar, not only in France and his hometown of Marseille, but around the world. We’re thrilled to be part of bringing this unique experience to an international fanbase,” said Nigel Harding, VP Artist Relations, Deezer. ”This livestream is the first of its kind for Deezer, but there will be many more to come as we continue to explore ways of bringing artists and fans together.”

Jul and Deezer 
As the most streamed artist on Deezer almost every year since 2015, Jul has regularly collaborated with the streaming platform. These include an exclusive pre-release listening session for his 2019 album “Rien 100 Rien” and two exclusive shows leading up to the 2020 release of the album “13’Organisé”, plus an attached bonus track livestream.
