Emilie Duquenne joins Deezer as Chief People Officer

What company doesn’t believe in better? We’ve got big plans for 2020 and beyond. An area we want to take to the next level this year is our team. To achieve that, we’ve hired Emilie Duquenne as our new Chief People Officer. 

Emilie will make sure that Deezer continues to be an employer of choice for talented people. She’ll also help us empower our employees to do their best work yet. She’ll develop and put in place a new global people strategy that will help people live our values and work together more efficiently and creatively.

Emilie joins us from Tesla, where she’s worked for the past two years. She joined as a Senior HR Manager in France, and then was the EMEA HR lead for Sales, looking after the HR business strategy. Her successes include a redesign of the marketing and sales structure of over 900 people in 17 countries. This helped Tesla achieve an exponential boom in sales and a robust and agile team. 

Prior to Tesla, Emilie worked as Talent Acquisition Director at L’Oreal where she boosted recruitment by creating a talent incubator model and featured employees as brand ambassadors. During her tenure and different roles, she contributed to improving talent management. She also spearheaded a new performance appraisal program for the company. Emilie is a graduate from ESSEC School of Management.
