Fans’ favourite artists to star in Deezer ‘LIVE’ gigs

Rocket LIVE was headlined by Circa Waves and Twin Atlantic 

This year, Deezer’s biggest playlists will come to life with the help of fans’ favourite artists. For the first time ever, Deezer is hosting a series of intimate playlist parties across different cities worldwide.  

We’re looking to take our top playlists – like Rocket, Popstar and Certified – to the next level. Our music editors have hand-picked artists from our flagship playlists to perform at small invite-only shows called ‘LIVE’. Each event will focus on a different genre. 

We’re kicking off with ‘Rocket LIVE’ in Paris on 19th February. The brilliant Circa Waves and Twin Atlantic will perform new music to fans and competition winners. Rocket features a huge range of rock artists from superstar acts such as Bring Me The Horizon and Green Day, through to emerging talent like Fontaines D.C. and Yonaka.

The gigs are being launched by Nigel Harding, Deezer’s VP of Artist Marketing. “Our editors make playlists to perfectly suit fans’ tastes and moods. For the first time, we’re bringing these hand-picked selections to life in a really cool party atmosphere. Fans can get closer to the artists they love, from the playlists they love, all in a live setting.” he said. 

But don’t worry if you miss the show. Each gig will be recorded as a Deezer Session and available exclusively to hear on Deezer.
