We’re pleased to announce that we’ve taken our collaboration with edjing, the world’s first DJ app, one step further with the launch of edjing’s brand new app. Now you can play with the entire Deezer catalogue and mix to your heart’s content on the more social, more intelligent, and more intuitive edjing app. A range of new features radically improve your overall experience:

  • ‘‘edjing World’’: the social network for edjers, connecting you with other aspiring DJs all over the world and helping you to share and discover new mixes.
  • ‘‘Global Search’’: this feature gives you instant access to more than 50 million tracks in one click – browsing everything Deezer, iTunes and SoundCloud have to offer.
  • Redesigned interface: the attractive new design means seamless navigation through all the latest features.

What’s more, the new app grants improved access to more social sharing features, unlimited Cloud storage space, and a ‘‘current playlist’’.

Daniel Marhely, founder and CTO of Deezer, said: ‘‘When we first partnered with edjing over two years ago, we had the common goal of giving new opportunities to aspiring DJs and refreshing tired old mixing techniques. Today, we want to take this even further providing music fans with increasingly innovative features, while helping them to discover more of the music they love.’’

Jean-Baptiste Hironde, CEO of edjing, added: ‘‘In 2012, edjing and Deezer had the ambition to innovate in the music track-mixing field. That’s what we’ve done since then. As from today, with the new edjing, users will enjoy an even richer DJing experience. With these evolutions and the optimised Deezer integration, edjing remains the most powerful DJ app currently on the market.’’

The app is available for iOS, Android, Amazon and Windows 8 devices. For more information, go to the edjing site.

Hi, what about using my offline Deezer tracks in places where I have no internet ?

I have the same question as David. The application will be useful to me if it can access offline content from Deezer.

A great improvement will be having a BPM column.
