Rag’N’Bone Man, our hugely talented Deezer NEXT Alumni, is showcasing his musical brilliance and offering a sneak-peek into his life, in Deezer’s first-ever channel takeover with video.

With Rag’N’Bone Man taking over a new channel, you can watch his live performance of Lay My Body Down with a breathtaking 27-piece orchestra. Fans can also appreciate the raw audio version, which Premium+ users can download and listen to offline.

As an added bonus, fans can also get up-close-and-personal with the ‘Human’ star as he is interviewed by his hiphop hero, Rodney P. In the video, the English MC chats candidly to Rag’N’Bone Man and peels back the complex layers of his musical journey. Rag’N’Bone Man, whose real name is Rory, reveals some of his musical inspirations and the albums that are playing on repeat.

A jungle, rap and soul music fan, you can now find and listen to over 20 of Rory’s own inspirations on the channel like Avelino, Bastille, Ragga Twins, Rum Committee, Ella Fitzgerald, and of course, Rodney P!

Our goal at Deezer is to continue to explore ways to help artists express themselves and help fans connect to and understand their music. The collaboration with Rag’N’Bone Man is an example of our artist-first approach and we hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it! Check out our new Deezer Rag’N’Bone Man channel here.
