Zara Larsson International Women's Day Playlist

Zara Larsson is only 19 and as badass as a woman can get. She’s a budding pop star and an out-and-proud feminist who refuses to be seen or treated as just a promotional tool. For the Swedish-born artist, feminism is a no-brainer and calling for equal rights between men and women is obvious.
What makes us love Zara Larsson even more is her refusal to trash-talk girls. On the contrary she champions other women, especially artists like Rihanna and her ultimate goddess Beyoncé who have empowered women with their songs. Her Twitter account is also full of statements encouraging women to love and believe in themselves by ignoring a society that continues to tell them that they are just not good enough. So, whether or not it bothers you that Larsson is slaying the patriarchy, this tough cookie is going nowhere and taking phallic imperialism down tweet by tweet, song by song.

To celebrate International Women’s day, Zara Larsson has created an exclusive playlist dedicated to the women around the world. You can listen to it here:

And because  Zara Larsson wouldn’t be Zara Larsson without her pointed and enjoyable Tweets, here are a few reminders of why ‘being cute’ doesn’t mean you don’t bite:
